Prepare to Meet God
Revelation 6:16-17: "And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
There is still coming a day that every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! It does not matter who it is that rises to power and influences men to blaspheme the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; God will have the last word. No matter how foolish this seems to some who may be reading it, let this be your warning to make preparations to meet God.
For you see, the same Jesus that this world has chosen to reject and forsake, is the same Jesus who came before in meekness and grace, but the next time will come in strength and power. Trust me when I tell you, you do not want to face Him in His wrath! Not a believer? You will be, either sooner or later, but you do have the choice to put your faith in Christ today, so as to avoid the wrath of God and the pending judgment that is scheduled to come upon all the earth for their wickedness.
Not fair, you say? To the contrary; God has done everything divinely and humanly possible in order for you to be saved, so if you face Him in His wrath, it will be of your own choosing. The good news is we are, at the time of this writing, still in the day of Grace. Jesus died for everyone who will believe in Him and trust Him to forgive them of their sins and make them His own. Dear reader, would you accept Christ’s forgiveness right there where you are today?
The Bible teaches that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you will call on Him right now, by faith, He will come into your heart, forgive you of your sins, purchase you with His blood, and make you a permanent member of His family, forever secured and accepted in Him from this day forward. Why worry about the pending judgment day the world has yet to face, when you can get it settled in your heart right now? Go ahead, call on Him! He will do what He said He will do!
